Be a Blogging Superhero

October 29, 2017

Oh, I’m all about being a superhero in every aspect of my life, but at some point, we all need to ask for a little help. Many people wonder how I get everything done in a day and as much as I would like to scream, “I’M A SUPERWOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR,” it’s not quite accurate. I’m a busy girl, not only do I blog from time to time but I also ghostwrite for clients all around the world and on top of that, I author books. Essentially, I’m exhausted, so there are just things that I would prefer not doing, like creating ads from scratch or creating a book trailer. So, I thought I would share with you the things that make my life easier in the hopes that it may help you as well!

Awesome Blogging Tools

Wix: I’ve had a few different hosting sites over the years and Wix is my favorite. Not only is it easy to use but I can also get cool notifications announcing who is on my site at any hour of the day and I have the choice of interacting with my guests if I want to. How cool is that? I remember watching Netflix one night and was notified that a person in Australia was on my site. I love it. It’s also very affordable, which is great for new bloggers as well.

Fiverr: If you haven’t dabbled into the world of Fiverr yet then you are truly missing out. I pretty much do everything on Fiverr and I do mean everything. I hire graphic designers to work on my ads for social media and I even had a book trailer created for my novel You Taste Like Whiskey and Sunshine. It is so cool! I have worked with some pretty great editors on the site and anytime that I feel a little stressed out because I have too much on my plate, I hand it to the wonderful worker bees on Fiverr and the stress just disappears, for a little while anyway.

Canva: If you love making your own graphics and you have the time to do so, then this is a great tool to use. It’s free and you can use it for website headers, social media ads and even Pinterest designs.

Grammarly: Grammarly has saved me on more than one occasion. As a writer/blogger, a tool like this should never take the place of an editor, especially when it comes to writing books or working on large projects. But it has saved my butt when I was writing emails in a panicked state when I got behind, and it will pick up on errors pretty quickly. If you need a simple check on your recent blog post or even for emails, then this is a great tool to use.

These are some of my favorite tools, what are yours?
